– Represents various sectors of the construction industry.
– Active membership open to women working at least 20 hours per week in construction.
– Nonvoting membership available for those not meeting active membership criteria.
– Membership requires belonging to a chapter.
– Inclusive of trades, project management, legal, financial, and administrative roles.

– **Organization:**
– NAWIC has 115+ chapters in 47 U.S. states.
– Chapters are grouped into eight regions.
– Governed by a board of directors and regional directors.
– Affiliated with similar organizations globally.
– Includes associations in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Qatar, South Africa, and the UK.

– NAWIC Founders Scholarship Foundation established in 1963.
